I have just had Guy Simmons from GMS Marine Surveys complete a pre-purchase survey on a boat that i'm buying, the report was very thorough and the report that he sent was very detailed, he left no stone unturned. I would, without hesitation, recommend him very highly to anyone purchasing a boat, I do not think you will find anyone better. Very professional and very approachable.

The report had digital photos of the problem areas and a summary of what could be done to remediate. I received a digital copy and another colour printed copy in the post.

To whom it may concern,
I recently acquired a Westerly Discus based in the Tide Mill Yacht Marina, Woodbridge.
As such I requested the services of Guy Simmons to conduct a full pre purchase survey of the vessel, both in and out of the water.
Mr Simmons was entirely professional throughout both visits to the vessel and presented me with a brief verbal assessment of his findings which was extremely helpful and was communicated in an informal but expert manner.
This was shortly followed by an extremely in depth and comprehensive 26 page report which was compiled in an easy to understand manner, which for a "non technical" person such as myself, was excellent.
Any manners requiring rectification were highlighted through the report, these and other matters were subsequently subject to an addendum at the conclusion of the report.
I consider that the cost of the report was extremely good value and I cannot speak too highly of the service provided.
